How to play MS Word and Excel Files on Windows Media Player

Step-1: Please install MS Word and MS excel Viewers on your Windows media player from the link below

Step-2: Find the installation location for the MS Word and MS Excel executable files on your media player 
Note: Your media player might show a different path

MS-WORD Viewer: 



MS-EXCEL Viewer: 



Step-3:
Save the Word file as Word 97-2003 Document


Save the Excel file as Excel 97-2003 Workbook



Step-4: Upload your Word and Excel Files to the Resources in Signage Studio




Step-5: Drag and Drop the External App / Capture component on the Timeline channel. 



Step-6: Double Click the ExtApp/Capture component on the channel to open its properties

1-  App name: Enter the path for Word and Excel viewer installation location identified in Step-2
2- Command line: Drag and Drop the Word or Excel File from the Resources

Step-7: Publish the Campaign to Station.
